Before joining Dysart Taylor, Anne practiced with a large, international employment defense firm.  She regularly represented Fortune 500 companies and their insurers, and smaller businesses, in gender, sexual harassment, pregnancy, age, race, disability and accommodation, retaliation and whistleblower, and wage and hour litigation. Anne also counseled employers on litigation avoidance, including compliance with the FMLA, FLSA, and state equivalents. After serving as a management-side-only employment lawyer, Anne now represents both employees and employers.

Employee representation. When helping employees, Anne understands the many ways company attorneys attack employment law claims as well as conceal weaknesses in the employer’s case. Anne knows company strategies during litigation and will use her experience to help employees reach their goal – be it litigation, alternative dispute resolution, employment agreement or severance negotiations, or just advice.

If you’re an attorney with a client who has an employment matter that falls outside the scope of your practice, Anne welcomes the opportunity to work with you on a referral basis.

Employer representation. When representing employers and their insurers, Anne is acutely aware of the strategies employees’ lawyers use to attack company policies and decisions. She works with businesses to avoid litigation by implementing practical and legally compliant solutions to workplace issues, and she defends employers before administrative agencies and courts.

Independent investigations. Anne conducts third-party, neutral workplace investigations. Her extensive employment litigation experience, from both the employee and employer perspectives, gives her a unique insight when investigating employee complaints, charges, and lawsuits alleging employee or employer misconduct. Anne performs fact-finding investigations and provides objective written findings and recommendations. She works with her clients to assess exposure, if any, and implement recommendations noted during the investigation. Anne also provides on-going advice and counseling with the goal of minimizing future claims.

When not practicing law, Anne enjoys spending time with family, youth sports coaching and cheering on her three kids from the sidelines, trying out great restaurants, and traveling.
