Our active Young Lawyers Section hosts a number of successful public service projects and networking opportunities for young lawyers, including the annual Court Crawl, Santa's Snow Ball, Mock Trial Competition and a number of happy hour events.     Court Crawl is an annual event during which summer associates, new lawyers, and law students tour the local courthouses and meet judges and staff from the Missouri Court of Appeals-Western District and the Jackson County Circuit Court.  The cost per attendee is $100.00 for summer associates or law clerks, and $125.00  for attorneys seeking CLE credit.  CLE applications will be submitted for both Missouri and Kansas.

    Following the program, all attendees are invited to the annual LAKC Judicial Reception (location TBD).

    Check-in begins at 1:30pm at the Jackson County Courthouse (12th ST entrance). A full agenda will be provided to registrants approximately one week prior to the event.




    Additional information/instructions:

    Court appropriate attire is required. Food and drink are not allowed in courts.

    Please allow plenty of time to find parking and go through security in order to arrive on time.
